While racing as an independent, Mike became familiar with the people of Fatboy Racing, pitting near them and borrowing parts and tools. He really liked the atmosphere the team produced, and asked if he could join them. Since then his racing has steadily improved. This year he will finish in the Top 25 in the Enduro standings--his best finish ever. He also drove in the Bombers division, where he placed 7th overall; and in Figure Eights, where he finished in 9th place overall. He plans to run the full three-night-a-week schedule of Figure Eights next season.

Besides being a talented driver, Mike is a valuable asset to Fatboy Racing as a mechanic, with eleven years of experience. His specialties are front suspension, brakes, exhaust, and alignment. When not working or racing, he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, on which he put over 4500 miles this summer.
